Katie (she/her) has been a student at DID fit since 2019, she’s a level 4 pole student, but you’ll also see her practicing other hobbies around the studio such as Lyra, liquid motion and exotic pole! After a couple years as a student, she decided she wanted to start teaching, now she has been an instructor at the studio since April of 2021, she teaches Intro to Pole and Level 1 classes. Her favorite thing about teaching pole is being able to connect with her students and engage with them in a way that makes them excited to come back and learn more!
What to expect at one of Katie’s classes: both fitness and dance based instruction, with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere always! Katie remembers what is like to be a beginner with no previous experience, so she takes her time when teaching new students. She also knows that not everybody’s pole/fitness journey may look the same, so there is high importance around helping each individual student reach their own personal goals. Feel free to chat with her before or after class about any pole/fitness goals!
Outside of the studio, Katie’s life revolves around her daughter and 2 dogs. She is a major foodie and loves anything outdoors or water related. In her down time she likes to read, draw and take naps.
