Focus on building the muscles that lift us into the hoop. Lots of conditioning exercises as well as beginner level poses. Working under and in the hoop.
We recommend leggings and a long sleeve shirt for this sport!
Students may wear socks or be barefoot
INTRO TO LYRA
More combo driven. Learn to transition into moves from inside the hoop. Working above/on top of the hoop. Intermediate poses and tricks.
Like Silks, you'll remain a student in Intro to Lyra until your instructor passes you to Lyra 1.
